About Dr. Willis Steinberg

Bill grew up in the Midwest and finished high school in Oregon. He graduated from Western Oregon State College and went on to receive an M.Div. degree from Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 1987. Working in the area of Congregational Development, Bill earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Seabury-Western Seminary in 2003. Bill is the founding pastor of The Church of the Resurrection in Fuquay-Varina. Throughout his pastoral career Bill has developed excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Serving as a pastor and congregational leader for over 25 years, Bill has had numerous opportunities to counsel, support, and offer direction to families and individuals in all manner of circumstances and situations. Acting upon a life-long interest in the legal profession, and bringing it together with his pastoral skills and experience, since 2007 Bill has been serving as a certified Mediator, volunteering several times each month with Carolina Dispute Settlement Services.  He is now taking his experience in mediation and conflict resolution into private practice. Bill’s outside interests include fly-fishing, cooking, and fitness.
